This centrally-located house has the best of both worlds— you can stay busy with a walk to the shops and restaurants on Broadway (12 min walk), stroll over to the art district on Beekman (8 min walk), take a short drive or bike ride to the State Park/SPAC (6 min) or enjoy the vibrancy of the Saratoga Race Track (7 min drive). When you need a quiet place to relax, you can return home to sit on the patio while your children play in the yard or cozy up on the couch to watch a movie on the 65” TV. The yard is perfect for relaxing— private and on a quiet street, with a patio and grassy space for kids to play. The neighbors are lovely and like to keep to themselves. The house was built in 1905 and has some classic charm, but has been updated throughout. You will enter the house through the mudroom where there is a washer/dryer, and off the mudroom is one full bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is comfortable for multiple people to cook together or hang out. Off the kitchen is a dining room and living room. It’s an open layout, so the kitchen/dining/living room on the first floor all feel bright and airy. Upstairs is another full bathroom (with a tub and shower), two smaller bedrooms (with full size beds), and a large bedroom with a queen size bed and dedicated workspace. The house is cozy and bright— a perfect spot for friends to hang out, a family to relax, or a home-base for those who want to explore the many activities Saratoga has to offer. You would have access to the entire house. The basement and garage will be locked, as they are used for storage. You can check in without interacting with us, although we’re happy to meet you if you prefer that! We live less than 10 minutes away and will be around if you require assistance or have questions about Saratoga. This is a quiet street within walking distance to downtown (a 12 minute walk to Broadway). There is also a convenience store, drug store, pizza shop, ice cream stand, and diner all very close and easy to walk to. There is a large playground and splash pad a few blocks away. If you’re looking for a central location and relaxing vibe, this is the place for you! This neighborhood is very walkable and close to downtown. It’s also easy to get an Uber or Lyft, and you can be downtown in just a few minutes!
