MINDFUL STAY AT THE CHURCH BY THE SEA

We've put together a very modest yet extraordinary peaceful and calming opportunity for you. We hope you'll love the simplicity, the quietness and the peacefulness of this place. The church is located on the stunning west coast of Latvia in a tiny fishermen village Jūrmalciems 10 minute walk from the Baltic sea. The space When we put this together we had Norwegian cabins up in far trails in mind - fantastic location yet very simple and modest housing. 10 minutes walk from the beach. The church hasn't been active for the last couple of years, so no services are held there at the moment. You'll have the key to the entire church and to a private room. Please know the room is as modest as it gets: • bunk bed • outdoor compostable toilet • there's no running water inside the church • you leave the place as you found it (or better :) — you clean after your stay and leave the place as nice as possible for the next travelers • bring your own sleeping bag of bed linens (we have pillows and blankets) • there is no wifi There's a little stove and some pots and pans so you can cook your morning porridge or dinner soup. Please know the water in the outdoor kitchen is not for drinking. Just keep in mind you'll need to be a pretty independent traveler up here :) Guest access You'll have the key to the entire place.
