House near the beaches and landing sites

Rated 3 stars – 10 people – living room and large farmhouse table – 4 bedrooms including a master suite equipped with shower and toilet – office with sofa bed – equipped kitchen – dishwasher – TV – garden and enclosed courtyard – pergola terrace Charming restored house in Hiesville, between Carentan, Sainte-Mère-Église and Sainte-Marie-du-Mont/Utah Beach, in the heart of the countryside, close to the sea and many activities: marshes, beaches, visit to the landing sites, discovery of Cotentin. The space The house has 4 bedrooms. A large bedroom accessed by a staircase in the living room, has a queen bed and access to a dressing room and shower room ( shower and toilet)via 3 additional steps. Another bedroom (queen size bed) is also located upstairs via another staircase (quite narrow) located in the office. 2 other bedrooms (double bed and queen size bed) with cathedral ceiling are located on the ground floor. An office with a sofa bed; this room is a walk-through. The shower room and toilet are on the ground floor, as well as a laundry room. The house has different landings through steps between the living room, the kitchen , the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The outside is very pleasant: a garden at the back of the house, a terrace with garden furniture facing south and a fixed arbor, a gravelled courtyard, all in an enclosed space and closed by a gate. The environment is quiet, conducive to rest. The location of the property is ideal as a starting point for the various excursions that the Cotentin offers: Beaches , sites and museums of the landing in Normandy, Utah Beach, Sainte Marie Du Mont, Sainte Mère-Église and its parachutist at the bell tower, the Parc des Marais de Carentan, Barfleur, Saint Vaast la Hougue and the island of Tatihou, the Hague, the Bay of Ecalgrain, the dunes of Barneville Carteret, Cherbourg and the city of the sea... Guest access Entire house. Barn and garden shed not accessible to tenants Other things to note Wifi access. Several levels and steps between each room in the house. Steep enough staircase to access one of the bedrooms. There are no doors to access the upstairs bedrooms. Baby equipment, such as a baby bed, high chair, folding stroller is present but there is no possibility to put a barrier at the bottom of the living room staircase.
