The Huxley is a newly renovated, private lower level suite of an idyllic Century home, in the heart of Picton. Just a short stroll to the main street and you find restaurants like The Royal Hotel, 555 Brewing and Bocado. Kick back and relax in the space designed for luxurious comfort, enjoy the MCM and antique touches through out, plus the newly installed salt water hot tub. The Huxley is the perfect spot for two adults or a family of three to have fun, reconnect and enjoy The County. The space The spacious one bedroom suite is just under 900 sq. feet and features a bedroom with room darkening shades, a three-piece bathroom, living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen and coffee bar. Pamper yourself with our fluffy towels and robes, the premium toiletries and heated bathroom floors during your stay. You will love the newly installed 4 person salt water hot tub in your private outdoor space. Start and end your day in the hot tub in spring, summer, fall and winter. Heading to the beach? We have beach chairs, a cooler bag and two Sand Cloud beach towels for our guests. The kitchen features a full fridge, stove and oven, toaster, kettle, coffee grinder and french press coffee maker, plus all the needed utensils and cooking equipment. We are stocked with the pantry basics: oil, balsamic, salt, pepper, sugar, stevia, sweetener, tea and starter coffee beans. Stay in to curl up on the feather down day-bed couch and watch Netflix or head outside with a glass of wine to enjoy your private outdoor roofed patio courtyard - rain or shine! You can also venture into the grassy backyard, backing onto a park, to have yourself a campfire or just take in the beauty of the garden and old trees we are lucky to be surrounded by. After a day of exploring the county you will fall into your king sized bed that boasts Brooklinen sheets, feather pillows and a down duvet. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the driveway to park your car. The private outdoor courtyard is where you will find the entrance to your suite which you will have the exclusive use of entirely (with the exception of the locked storage room).
