Cottage in Hindringham

A cosy 1795 flint cottage annex with sweeping rural views, just 3.7 miles from the Norfolk coast. Peaceful, light‑filled and carefully furnished for comfort with a fully equipped kitchen suitable for home cooking and a super‑king bed that can be arranged as twins. Opening out to a private patio (afternoon sun). Close to coastal towns, cafés, pubs, beaches, and farm shops. Ideal for couples or small families, with a cot, child’s bed, and a dog welcome. Plenty of free parking and bike storage. The space Flint annexe is attached to the far end of our flint cottage. You will be completely private with a your own entrance and patio opening straight into the annexe. Through the double doors you will enter a light and airy open plan room with kitchen, dining and seating areas. With locally sourced antique or hand made pieces. There is a large sofa - big enough to lie on, an ercol table and chairs (enough for 4 with 2 upstairs), smart TV, books, magazines, games etc. Fast WIFI. The kitchen is well equipped for a long or short stay with a microwave, electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, a mini freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, Lavazza milk frother supplied with some pods. Tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, jams, cooking oil, salt and pepper are also supplied for you to use during your stay. There is also plenty of storage space for your own supplies. A washing machine, drying rail, iron and ironing board are also available in Flint. The bedroom has a super king sized bed which can be arranged as twin beds either placed beside each other or one put by the window. The pillows are soft standard size, and medium/firm kingsize pillows, 4.5 tog duvet and lightly ironed white 400 count sheets. There is a desk/dressing table, a small chair and table by the window overlooking the garden. Built in cupboards for storage. The bathroom has a shower with local soap, towels and a hairdryer. Additional pillows and throws in the cupboard. The are extensive views pointing towards the coast of the garden and fields. This is a quiet area with lots of wildlife - birds, deer and rabbits etc which you will see and hear from the bedroom. The French doors open out to a private, cosy, sunny(mid afternoon) gravel courtyard with a comfortable swing seat, table, lights, planting and an outside tap. Parking is opposite the cottage and off road. There is always plenty of room. The annex is connected right at the end of the cottage so this is private from the main residence. There is a lovely peaceful walk immediately from the cottage down a generally quiet lane through fields and woods to a stream. The area is quiet and very rural. Guest access Your private space is the patio and the annex which you walk straight into via the white gates. You will have views over the garden but no access to the garden. Other things to note Children and babies Flint is suitable for children of all ages. Please message me if you have any questions regarding this to make sure Flint is suitable for your child. I have a baby gate for both top and bottom of the stairs and other safety features making it suitable for toddlers under parent supervision. A pull out bed is also be available for an older child who is happy to share the ensuite bathroom. Super King sized bed or changed to twin beds The super king bed can be divided to become twin beds and spaced apart. Great for two friends sharing! Dogs Flint is only suitable for one small to medium sized dog. I have a child gate which I prefer my guests to use to prevent your pet from going upstairs to the bedroom or sleep on the bed.
