This quaint cottage is secluded in the piney woods of East Texas. A fresh, inviting interior offers peaceful solitude and relaxation. It provides all the comforts of home with special touches for two, including a king-size bed, an indoor jacuzzi tub, and an electric fireplace for the perfect romantic ambiance. Surrounded by tall hickory and oak trees, you'd never know a bustling little town, the oldest town in Texas, is just 10 miles down the road! But once you're here, you may never leave! The space This cabin has an open-concept layout, which means there is no private bedroom. The bedroom/sitting area has a comfortable king-sized bed, loveseat, occasional chair, and ottoman for relaxing and watching TV. You can log into your favorite streaming apps for your viewing pleasure. A window seat allows one to relax and enjoy a captivating woodsy view or could serve as additional bedding for a younger guest. The kitchenette has a microwave, a coffee bar, a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, a small efficiency stove/oven combo, a toaster, and all basic cook and dining ware. French doors lead from the kitchenette to a private, covered deck with a table and chairs for outdoor enjoyment. An in-ground fire pit is also available for enjoying a campfire during cooler months. The cabin has a full bath equipped with a shower and jacuzzi tub. The tub has a palladium window so you can gaze into the forest as you soak. ***IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS CABIN & OUR PROPERTY*** The hot tub, laundry room, and activity field are shared amenities. The hot tub isn't too far from this cabin and may be reserved for an hour of private use; however, you do not have to reserve it to use it. All other amenities are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. We have a NO PETS & NO SMOKING/VAPING policy. Smoking is only allowed outside the cabin, away from open doors and windows. Extra fees will be charged if we determine smoking has occurred inside the cabin. Guest access Your cabin is on 250+ acres and has multiple trails for exploring the woodlands. We offer golf cart rentals for an additional fee. A link will be provided in your reminder and check-in messages if you'd like to rent one. We offer a contact-free check-in. You will be provided a map and directions to your cabin when you arrive at the main house on the property. You will have full access to your cabin. The cabin will be unlocked when you arrive, and you will find a key inside so you can secure your possessions if you leave. You also have access to a free laundry facility attached to the hot tub area. All guests on the property have access to the hot tub, but it can be reserved for private use for an hour at a time for no additional fee. Other things to note Although we aren't very far from great places to eat, you may never want to leave the property once you arrive! Feel free to bring your own food or visit one of our local grocery stores to stock up for the weekend. We have tried to provide everything you'll need in the kitchen, but if something is missing, we will be happy to accommodate any reasonable requests. Look through the Stag Leap Guest Book for suggestions of places to eat, shop, and play. We are located just 10 miles outside of Nacogdoches, the oldest town in Texas, and 4 miles from beautiful Lake Nacogdoches, where you can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, picnicking, and disc golf. Our area is full of history and offers many beautiful places to explore! We have six other cabins on the property, but they are spread out and tucked into natural surroundings to provide our guests with maximum privacy.
