Retreat with rustic cabin, picnic shed and ponds

Rustic, private retreat with solar powered off grid cabin, 2 fish stocked ponds, picnic shed, fire pit and charcoal grilling area on 72 acres with hiking areas. There is a propane range, wood stove, propane gas log heater and beautiful stone wood burning fireplace. Firewood is provided. There is a gas grill at the cabin. The cabin has an open floor plan with a tin roof. There is an enclosed shower/sink room with hot water adjacent to the cabin. A few steps from the cabin there is a pit toilet. The space In the 768 square foot cabin, the downstairs is one large open room where you will find the living space which has 1 recliner and 1 reclining sofa (there are no futons or sleeper sofas), a large stone wood burning fireplace and woodstove (firewood is provided at no charge), kitchen space with hot and cold running water, dining space and bedroom 1 space . The open loft room is bedroom 2. Both beds are standards. Upstairs gets pretty warm. You may hear acorns falling on the tin roof. There is a covered porch that overlooks the small pond with a gas grill on the side porch (propane provided). There is an enclosed room with hot water shower and sink adjacent to the cabin. The pit toilet (outhouse) is only a few steps from the cabin. Towels and linens are provided. We ask that you bring your pet's own bed. Pets do not get on or in the beds. If you leave for an outing, pets must be crated. There is no refrigerator, so bringing a cooler would be a good idea. The amount of solar power is subject to amount of sunshine we get, and how leafed out the trees are. The picnic shed area has a fire pit and 2 stationary grills with charcoal chimneys. Bring your own charcoal. Guest access You will have complete access to the cabin, picnic shed, grills, ponds and hiking areas. You will not be sharing any of this with anyone. Other things to note The inside cabin area is 1,000 sq ft. There is an adjacent room with a hot water shower and sink. You have access to 2 ponds and picnic shed and 75 acres to hike and play on. You will not share these spaces with anyone. There is no refrigerator, so we suggest you bring a cooler and ice. Propane will be provided for the gas grill. If you would like to use the charcoal grills at the picnic shed, please bring your own charcoal. You may want to bring your sleeping bags to lay in or on the beds or sofa in cooler weather. We provide salt, pepper and sugar packets, but bring your coffee of choice. We have a pour over coffee maker. There is a Dollar General and a deli within 5 minutes from us. There is no central heat or air conditioning. There is no tv. There is no WiFi. Cell service is usually good.
