Woodside Farm cottage is a converted stone barn within the grounds of Woodside Farm. It was updated in 2106, and we receive great reviews about the interior. This is a very quiet, private, scenic location with miles of beautiful walks immediately from the doorstep. There is a quintessential country pub within 5 mins walk. The space The grade 2 cottage is an upside down house to maximise on the views. There is a comfortable open plan sitting room and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs is a kingsize double bedroom, with vi-sprung mattress, shower room/WC, all recently fully refurbished and redecorated throughout. Guest access A small south facing lawned garden. It has table and chairs, has been set aside for the exclusive use of this cottage's guests. It is hedged for your privacy. There is ample room for parking of vehicles, as well as secure storage space in out buildings for bicycles etc. We could even accommodate your horses with enough warning! Other things to note The main farmhouse dates back to 1564 and is documented as being a hunting lodge for King Henry VIII. We have sheep, horses, chickens, dogs and cats – plus a lot of wildlife, lots of deer, a resident fox, badgers, owls and other birds.
