The space Plaz Vilka Beachfront House sleeps 6 comfortably, up to 8 if small children. Additional cottages available across the drive if more guests in your party. A private backyard between the House & the Patio Kitchen is for House guests only and includes a gas grill, a picnic table, and outdoor seating. Plaz Vilka is not your cookie cutter, standard guest experience. It offers couples, families, & groups who don't need the frills a genuine experience of Lake Erie friendly hospitality. Many guests come for the location of being close to Cedar Point Amusement Park, Vermilion, and surrounding tourist attractions. It's also a great place to relax enjoying Lake Erie, being together, catching up.... Guest access The private backyard immediately behind the Beachfront House is reserved exclusively for Guests of the Beachfront House with its own BBQ grill and seating. Guests can also access the large waterfront backyard*: fire pit, with firewood provided, and multiple seating areas to view the water & sunsets. The terraced decks are accessible by walking down the grassy ramp on the east side of the property. Three sandstone decks with outdoor seating at the waterfront offer great views of the Lake & its awesome sunsets. The lower sandstone deck at the waterfront, accessible from a second set of sandstone stairs, is large enough for small weddings/cocktail parties If accessibility is an issue, views can also be enjoyed from on top of the bluff. A sandy beach** is located on the east edge of the property which allows guests to access the water. The entire beach (110 feet) area is sand and the water depth gradually increases to a depth of 4 feet, 60 feet out into the water, perfect for swimming or using a floatie on the water. *Please note the large waterfront backyard is also shared with guests of Plaz Vilka's Cottages. **The size of the beach is subject to Mother Nature! Other things to note Two car maximum in parking area, which is shared with cottage guests across the drive. The waterfront backyard is shared by both Cottage & House guests including the sandstone terraces & beach.
