Dog-friendly Ishinomaki private lodging, "Kame House"

This is Kame House, a private lodging in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, where you can stay with dogs. I run an architectural firm, and I use the spare space in my home, which is undergoing DIY renovation, as a private lodging. It was the first private lodging registered in the Ishinomaki area, and we started operating in August 2018. There is no special hospitality, but we hope you can relax and enjoy the city of Ishinomaki as if you were at home or at your parents' house. Please use it for sightseeing in Tohoku, traveling with your dog, visiting home, etc.! The space This is a 47-year-old house with a total floor area of about 140 m2. The two rooms on the second floor with good sunlight are fully equipped with a guest toilet, hand wash, refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. Feel free to enjoy your stay. It is located on a hill, so the view is good, and during the Kawakai Festival, the largest festival in Ishinomaki City, you can enjoy the fireworks from the window of the room. Guest access The kitchen, bathroom, washroom, and washing machine are on the first floor and are shared with the landlord. The yard is a dog run, where you can let your dog play freely. During your stay The host and the dogs live in the office & private room on the 1st floor. I work from home, so please feel free to knock anytime you need anything. We can also guide you to recommended tourist spots, restaurants, and dog-friendly spots. There is no meal service, only room-only accommodation. Tea and more are available for free self-service. You can also bring in ingredients and cook in the kitchen. There is a convenience store about a 2-minute walk away, which is convenient for a little shopping. Other things to note * If you are not good with dogs or have animal allergies, you cannot stay. We do not allow unvaccinated dogs to stay with us. * Children in elementary school will be charged half price. Please let us know at the time of booking as the payment amount will change. (Futons available) Preschool children are free, so please book without including them in the number of people.
