To that effect, we provide: - Inverter, heater, internet dongle - Wardrobe, hangers, iron, torch - Geysers, towels, toiletries - Medical kit, mosquito repellent - Barbecue kit, bonfire - Secured parking space for up to 4 cars and 4 bikes This is not a wheelchair-friendly property. Pets are welcome. The Space: BEDROOMS - There is 1 spacious bedroom on the ground floor of the villa. - The bedroom offers a plethora of amenities including a king-sized bed, TV, wardrobe, heater, Wi-Fi access and attached bathrooms. - The cosy bay window in the room overlooks the beautiful forest. - Please note that there is an additional bedroom on the first floor of this villa. Guests do not have access to it. BATHROOMS - There is 1 ensuite bathroom. - The bathroom is equipped with a geyser, towels and basic toiletries. COMMON AREAS - The home opens up to the expansive living room on the ground floor, which is furnished with sofa-style seating arrangements for up to 6 people. - The living room boasts huge windows, an indoor fireplace, a portable music system and a heater. - The dining area is a part of the living room and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. - The exteriors of the property boast a myriad of greenery, along with a 2000 sq. ft. shared lawn. - The gardens are embellished with ample seating arrangements and swings. - Guests can head over to the terrace and savour the breathtaking pine views. KITCHEN - There is a kitchen outside the premises of the villa and a dry pantry in the villa. Guests only have access to the pantry. - It is equipped with a water purifier, crockery and cutlery. FOOD - Breakfast is complimentary. - Enjoy à la carte a selection of freshly prepared vegetarian and non-vegetarian local specialties. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. Guest access There are 2 villas on the premises. Guests have only access to one room and common areas in one of the villas. Guests do not have access to the kitchen. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests may have restricted access to any shared amenities. During your stay The host is not present at the property but is always accessible via call or message. A trained and responsible caretaker is present to resolve any concerns and help you have a perfect stay. The caretaker is available from 8 AM to 6 PM. Other things to note STAFF ACCOMMODATION We can provide accommodation for one staff member at no additional cost. The staff will be accommodated in the staff quarters. Meals can be provided at an additional cost. ACTIVITIES Nestled in the lap of nature and surrounded by lush greenery, this holiday home is a melange of experiences. Within the property, guests can wake up to the melodious chirping of birds and misty breeze. Picnic can be arranged at a nearby stream on additional charges. Due to the abundance of nature, exotic bird sightings can be experienced here. Start the day with an elaborate complimentary breakfast. Head out and take a leisurely stroll on the lawn and embrace nature. Gather your loved ones and play indoor games such as cards and ludo. Carry a book to read peacefully, amidst the many cosy nooks in the house. Devour a sumptuous barbecue meal around the bonfire. ADD-ON SERVICES - Barbecue kit is available at an additional cost of Rs. 1500 per session, including wood and coal. - Veg barbecue meals can be provided at an additional cost of Rs. 600 per person, per meal and non-veg barbecue meals can be provided at an additional cost of Rs. 800 per person, per meal. - Bonfire can be availed at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 for a duration of 2 hours. -The washing machine can be used at no additional cost. - The indoor fireplace can be used at an additional cost of Rs. 1000 for a duration of 2 hours. - Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates. HOME TRUTHS While we do promise you a welcoming home and a great stay, here are a few things we’d like to mention so as to ensure there are no unpleasant surprises later! - All-male groups are not allowed on the property. - Between 9:00 PM - 4:00 AM, the local administration does not allow any vehicle to cross Kotdwar because of heavy elephant movement. So, one should reach the property before the restricted time frame. - Kindly use the water wisely. - Please note that guests are advised not to step out after 6 PM, as it may not be safe, given the presence of leopards and wild creatures around. - Do not litter non-veg food remains in or around the premises as they may attract the wild animals around. - There are 2 villas on the premises of the property and hence the common areas may be shared. - The location of the villa is secluded. - This is not a wheelchair-friendly property. - This is a pet-friendly property. - Pets are welcome, however a security deposit of Rs 5,000 will be levied, and pet cleaning services will be charged separately at Rs 1,000 excluding taxes for the whole stay. - In case of a power outage, the inverter can support a few lights, fans and plug points for up to 5 hours. - The Airtel mobile network works fairly well here. - Internet is not available at this property. - Consumption of non-vegetarian food is allowed. - Please be mindful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM. - Children & pets must always be supervised and are advised to stay inside the villa, especially during the evenings. - Guests are requested to shut the windows and doors during the evenings as the property may be prone to insects and bugs. - There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas of the property for security purposes. - Guests are advised to refrain from going for walks after sunset and before sunrise in order to respect the wildlife and avoid any unforeseen incidents.
