Welcome to Idsal in Ryfylke Bright and nice holiday home of approx. 120 m2. Good standard and good sun conditions. The vacation home has large windows from floor to ceiling, which gives a lot of daylight and the opportunity to enjoy the view. The cabin has 4 bedrooms with a total of 8-9 beds, 2 living rooms and one bathroom. From the living room there is an exit to spacious terraces where you can spend nice sunny hours and enjoy meals outside. The cabin is nicely located about 100 meters from the lake. There are good hiking opportunities near the cabin. Other things to note The cabin is a good starting point for a trip to Preikestolen, Kjerag or Lysefjorden. There are also many other nice trips within a short distance from the cabin. The cabin is well equipped and there is both a gas grill, cabin furniture and a fire pan that are included in the rent. Idsal is a small mainland island about 20 min drive from Jørpeland and less than 1 hour from Stavanger. The cabin is situated on the edge of a cabin area with private cabins. There is shared parking and paths down to the individual cabins. There are no paved roads in the cabin area and therefore little intervention has been made in nature. It is quiet and peaceful without car traffic. The cabin is west facing and has good sun conditions. Below the cabin there is a beautiful rock along the lake where you can swim or sit and enjoy the sunset. It is also nice to take a walk along the lake or go for a walk in the woods right by the cabin. If you want to try your luck at fishing, there is a possibility for that. You need your own car or boat to get here. Food purchases can be made at Forsand or at Jørpeland. Most people arrive in Jørpeland, which is the largest settlement in Ryfylke. Here you can go out to eat, go to a cafe or do shopping. The holiday home is a good starting point if you want to experience the spectacular natural attractions Lysefjorden and Preikestolen. With a fjord cruise on the Lysefjord, you will be able to see both Preikestolen, Flørli and Kjerag. It is also recommended to take the drive on national tourist roads in Ryfylke and experience real western nature. For families with children, a trip to the amusement park Kongeparken can be a nice activity. If you want to see Stavanger city, this is only an hour's drive from the holiday home. For those who play golf, Preikestolen golf is located in beautiful surroundings just 11 km away near Preikestolhytta. All cabins have a berth and this can be used during the rental period (width 2.4 m). There is a common barbecue area down by the marina that can be used by all the cottage residents. Forest and hiking area right by the cabin. 2 sea kayaks with equipment can be used. The kayaks are stored by the lake and are easy to take out. Life jackets and oars in the cabin. Free parking about 150 meters from the cabin. There may be a possibility for charging an electric car, but this must be agreed upon in advance. Price is in addition. Otherwise, electric cars can be charged in Jørpeland about 20 km away. There is no internet in the cabin, but full 4G coverage No pets allowed. Cleaning fee is not included. The tenant can do the cleaning himself, or choose to pay a cleaning fee of NOK 1,500. Cleaning must be arranged upon booking.
