You will want to return year after year. *WiFi is not always reliable. It is through a satellite because that is the only option in our neighborhood. We have attended to many details ~ thanks to my wife. Your kitchen is fully stocked for meal prep, coffee, waffles, double fridge + bar fridge, and more. Indoor and outdoor dining, or maybe you’d enjoy dining by the pool? Rainy day, we have WiFi, cards, board games, books, and a covered deck. Two restaurants and a winery within a 5 minute drive. You will want to go shopping on Main Street. Bring home dessert from dessert from Cupcake Apothecary (they offer more than cupcakes - perfect macarons.) Full access to the cottage, pool, and back yard. In addition to the river view, bird watcher’s seek us out to see Eagle’s, Woodpecker’s, Owls, Heron, and more. We live next door. There is a bridge between the two houses, so we have easy access to drop off whatever you need. You can reach us by calling or texting. Y’all, Winchester, Kentucky is a beautiful place to be. You will travel on a long, winding road that is part of a scenic byway to arrive here. Our house is located opposite a wooded hillside and the Kentucky River. There is no thru traffic, and very little traffic in general. Bird’s sing, listening bugs flash, and neighbors are friendly. Parking is directly in front of the cottage. There is room for multiple cars. If you plan on boating, the Boonesborough Park offers a boat ramp, it’s about a seven minute drive. We have a friendly, Great Pyrenees dog, named Fancy. There are also other dogs in the neighborhood. This means occasional barking. My kids may join you in the pool. They will mind their manners and pool rules. We will honor adult or private swim hours upon request. Pool Rules- The deck is hot on bare feet. No diving is permitted. There is a pool side bar area, walking on the bar is not permitted. Adult supervision is required for pool and hot tub use. For safety, you must close the hot tub cover after every use. Swimming alone is a safety risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. We are not liable for accidental injury. Security Cameras are located at the front and back of our house to reduce the likelihood of uninvited guests.
