Authenticity, beauty and comfort. Nestled by the river Seine, in an artist village in the region of Champagne, this former priory is located only 100km from Paris (55mn direct train between the neighboring Nogent s/Seine and Gare de l'Est). This is an authentic and resourcing place, newly renovated, loaded with 400 years of history. We have decorated the house with love and care, the equipment is very generous. Bikes of diverse sizes, kayaks, SUPs and other equipment are available. The space Our Studio is located on the ground floor of the main building of the Priory, nestled between river and garden. The apartment is configured as follows: Bedroom (queen size bed, 160x200) and kitchen offer a peaceful view on the river. The towpath of the river is directly accessible from the kitchen and mobile terrace furniture is available to enjoy this idyll. An alternative and permanent terrace is provided on the garden side of the Studio. The kitchen is generously equipped. The living room with fireplace and large sofa offers a view and access to the large south-facing garden. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and a large vintage sink. Washing machine and dryer are available, sheets and bath towels provided. Total surface of ​​the apartment; approximately 60m². The interior of the apartment, its entrance and terrace are exclusively reserved for its tenants. The vast Prieuré garden is shared with our guests of the two other accommodations (two and three bedroom vacation homes). Guest access The property of Le Prieuré sur Seine consists of two houses and a vast garden. The two houses offer three vacation homes with 1-3 bedrooms. The maximum total capacity is of 14 persons. All travelers enjoy perfect privacy: each of our three vacation homes has its' private entry and terrace. They all have a private kitchen and living room, in addition to the bed- and bathrooms. The former priories' garden is oriented South, so one can enjoy the sun from dawn until evening. The garden is the only shared space of Le Prieuré; all our guests enjoy this grand space, offering diverse relaxing spots. A large offer of outside equipment is available for our guests: numerous bikes (children and adult sizes, incl. baby seats), three double kayaks, two SUPs (life vests are available) so that you may explore the surroundings on the water and by land :) Also available: a ping-pong table, badminton rackets, balls... We ask for a unique participation of 10€ per group for the use of this offer. Other things to note We are a Parisian family (well, my husband is Portuguese and I am German originally...), charmed by this spiritual and inspiring place, we chose as our home for vacations and numerous weekends... Our country house is neighboring le Prieuré. We are happy to make this picturesque village known to curious travelers, who are keen on authentic places. The discovery of this former priory was the beginning of a great family adventure for us! Before I worked for a French luxury brand. My husband is restaurateur, creating great restaurants in Paris. We share the passion for decoration and the pleasure of hospitality.
