Nestled along the Rock river Urban River Cottage, a 105 year-old 4 bedroom 2 bath home, featuring quirky vintage decor throughout, comfortable beds, plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy the river views, and a dock for boating, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Urban River Cottage is situated next door to the Rockford Riverwalk/Bike Path, Discovery Center Children's Museum , Burpee Museum of Natural History Rockford Art Museum. Just 2 blocks from The Coronado Performing Arts Center. The space We LOVE vintage housewares, art and furniture and our house is an expression of just that! Enjoy well-appointed guest rooms accented with quirky decor, comfortable spaces to enjoy a read, a visit, nature watching or a nap! There are a couple of smart televisions in the house, as well as wifi and streaming services, but the Rock River in the back yard is the real star of the show! Guest access The entire house is yours for your stay. There is a room upstairs that we keep locked, and contains personal items such as our clothing and our son's toys. You may access the basement, should you wish to wash laundry, and the garage is accesible as well, though is not an area of particular interest, outside of the large garbage cans!
