L'Oasis du Bosc Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Please read the entire listing before booking, I live in a secluded place - Not accessible with a car that is too low. I welcome you to a comfortable room in the middle of a natural area, in a bucolic setting, 1 km from Lake Pinet and the GR736. Come and take a break in a beautiful and preserved location in the heart of the Raspes du Tarn, a place developed according to a food and energy self-sufficiency approach. The space Completely restored room with independent access, including a shower room and dry toilet. The room has 2 beds: A 140/190 double bed and a 120/190 bed on a mezzanine that can accommodate 1 adult or 2 young children. (The mezzanine is quite short in length, it can accommodate an adult of 1.7 m maximum) We operate only with solar panels and batteries, as well as hot water, produced by a solar water heater in the summer. The dry toilet is maintained by us during the day. Regarding electricity, it is not possible to use a device that is too powerful and nothing can be plugged in overnight. Specifically, PCs can be recharged between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and mobile phones until 8 p.m. (impossible to use a heating or too powerful object: beyond 100 Wh please ask us) - Common summer kitchen with gas stove, sink, armchairs, hammocks, games for small children. (No electric cooking utensils due to no connection to the EDF network) NB: Given our autonomy in electricity, it is not possible to leave electrical appliances plugged in at night. NB2: We also offer meals made with our organic vegetables and pork or beef from the farms of our Village or surroundings. Breakfasts are also available (please ask in advance) Guest access You can access the Farm in several ways: - By car: From Viala-du-Tarn, take the D73 towards Bouloc then after 2/3 km the D152 towards Ladepeyre/Coudols then 2/3 km again after, the junction on the left with the indicated localities (Fourcadier, La Lioure, La Devèze...) go 5/6 km then you arrive on a kind of esplanade with 2 mailboxes on your left. Take the track that starts at 180° to the left. From the moment the track goes up, it's the second on the left. - On foot, especially for walkers and those who take the GR736, from Pinet on the edge of the Tarn. Head towards the cemetery and continue on the trail that continues just after. Go 1 km and you're there. - On foot from La Beloterie or Ladepeyre (hamlets of Viala-du-Tarn) During your stay Most of the time there is always someone available on site if there is anything you need. Other things to note To access by Car: the last 2 km are unpaved. It's a viable track but with mounds as a water spillway. Caution is advised on this portion.
