Saratoga Garden Cottage

A bright and spacious one bedroom cottage apartment in the country. Enjoy views of the Saratoga Passage; lush vegetation; and a glimpse of the Cascades, on clear days. Wake with the sunrise, or draw the curtains if you prefer to sleep in, on your plush king bed. Outside there are several nooks where you can take in the sounds and antics of wildlife, including eagles, frogs, bunnies, owls, quail, deer, and song birds. The space Saratoga Garden Cottage is a perfect home base for your activities on beautiful Whidbey Island. Start your day with the sunrise, then after a long day of sightseeing, relax by the pond, with a cozy blanket, or hang out in your living room to play board games. You may meet Beckett, our young Terrier. He will probably be very excited to see you! . The cottage was recently renovated to reflect a fresh modern country vibe. There is a large new bathroom with a spacious shower, and a dressing area with a wardrobe to hang your clothes. There is also a brand new pillow top king size bed, and extra pillows for your comfort. A new kitchenette contains a mini fridge with a small freezer. There is a microwave,, an electric kettle, plates and utensils. There is also a gas bbq grill outside your door. This is not a full kitchen, as it does not have an oven/stovetop Guest access The long gravel driveway takes you directly to your designated parking spot to the right of the garage; a short gravel staircase leads you to the cottage. Guests may enjoy their private patio with gas bbq grill and bistro table and chairs. The entire front of the property, including orchard, pond, and vegetable garden are shared spaces, and we highly encourage you to explore and enjoy them, as much as we do. We are often outside on the property, making improvements. We love to interact with guests, but respect their privacy- there are lots of little hidden nooks to enjoy some solitude.
