Description
Our spacious studio apartment is just a two minute walk to the beach and a short stroll along the sea front to the popular harbour village of St Aubin. The split-level studio is on the first floor in a separate part of our family home. The bedroom is located on the upper level with sea views towards St Aubin’s Bay. The open-plan kitchen and living area is on the lower level with views across a quiet residential lane towards fields where you’ll often see Jersey cows grazing. The space The sleeping area has a king-sized bed with luxury Vispring mattress and en-suite shower room. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave combination oven, electric hob and cooking utensils. Washing machine and tumble drier available to use. Guest access The private studio shares a main entrance with the family house but has its own front door. We are a 10 minute drive from the airport and a 10 minute drive to the main town, St Helier. Public transport The studio is near two of the island’s best-served bus stops, connecting St Helier to the airport (buses run every 15–20 minutes), St Brelade’s Bay, Corbière lighthouse, Grève de Lecq beach and St Ouen’s Bay. There is a cycle path and pedestrian walkway on the sea front leading west to St Aubin’s village and east towards town. You can rent public electric Evie bikes from various locations nearby. Parking Public parking is available a short walk from the apartment, charged at 90p per 2 hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Parking is free outside of these times, and between 1 October and 31 March. Nearby amenities Within 300 metres of the property you’ll find the fantastic Gunsite beach café in a repurposed WWII bunker, the Michelin ‘Bib Gourmand’ restaurant Mark Jordan at the Beach, and local pub The Goose. St Aubin’s village is a 15 minute walk where there are lots of wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars with scenic views across the harbour and towards the 16th Century St Aubin’s Fort. There is also a supermarket 450 metres from the studio. Other things to note The studio is located on a quiet lane, which joins the larger coast road linking St Helier to St Aubin. Parking is not provided at the property but there is a public carpark a short walk away on the seafront at a cost of £1.04 for every 2 hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. Parking outside these hours and on Bank Holidays is free and parking between 1st October to 31st March is also free. Please note shower is standard pressure (i.e. not a power shower) and the wood burner is not in use.
