In the heart of the green Ardèche, in the Doux valley in Lamastre, a typical stone house built into the rock at the foot of Retourtour Castle, in a small, picturesque, entirely pedestrianised and very quiet hamlet. 100 metres from a landscaped and shaded lake. Bike storage room, private parking with gate for motorbikes, in this unique and peaceful property. Market 1.5 km away on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Many activities, hikes and places to visit. .Chestnut and mushroom fair coming soon. The space The 90 m² house is located on a pedestrian path and has 3 levels. Ground floor: living room with exposed stone and rock walls, with a wood-burning stove, a sofa bed and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. On the 1st floor, there is an entrance door to avoid having to go up the stairs, with 2 bedrooms on either side. To ensure your privacy and comfort, they are fitted with thick blackout curtains. There is reversible air conditioning on the ground floor and on the 1st floor. On the 2nd floor, there is a 30 m² attic bedroom with a sofa bed and a 140 cm bed. This bedroom does not have reversible air conditioning, but only a paraffin or gas auxiliary heater. Wi-Fi is available, and bed linen is included for three 140 cm beds. The beds are made on arrival. Bath towels are not provided (rental available on request). Board games, travel cot, bath and high chair available on request. 2 TVs, one downstairs and one in the first bedroom. Fully equipped covered terrace with summer kitchen, plancha grill and pool table. Dogs accepted on request with a supplement of €5 per night. In the kitchen, there is a filter coffee machine and a Senseo machine. This property is not suitable for people who have difficulty getting around and climbing stairs. Guest access The house and terrace are exclusively reserved for guests staying in this property. The terrace faces the entrance and is enclosed by a gate. Other things to note This accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. The bedroom on the 2nd floor does not have reversible air conditioning, just an additional heater (paraffin and gas stove). There is no possibility of parking in front of the gîte or of charging an electric car, as access is for pedestrians only. Towels are not provided. Dogs are accepted on request ONLY with a supplement of €5 per night. Cleaning must be done before your departure. If you do not wish to do it, a flat rate of €35 will be charged for 2 nights and €50 for longer stays. Sheets are included for 3 beds of 140 cm. If you wish to use other beds, you must bring your own sheets. Thank you.
