Nestled in the picturesque village of Halse with views over to the Quantocks, this former stables block now known as The Meeting House provides a spacious, but cosy perfect country retreat. It is private and peaceful and an ideal location for couples, families, walkers, trail runners, cyclists, riders and nature lovers. Well mannered dogs are also very welcome The space On entering The Meeting House you are welcomed directly into the light and comfortable living area with plush velvet sofas and a cosy woodburning stove. The fully equipped kitchen /dining area is positioned a couple of steps above the living room and there is a WC just off this room. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor. Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms separated by a shower bathroom. The Master bedroom located up a secondary set of steps has a king sized bed with under eves hanging rails and a chest of drawers - the second bedroom has two single beds and a large 3 seater Futon Company sofa bed. Outside there is undercover patio with a picnic table and a small area of grass. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the Meeting House and outdoor eating area. Please restrict smoking to your sheltered garden area only. There is access to the shared use of the rotary washing line on the hosts property. Other things to note We are happy to host your well behaved dog, however please bring their bed and bowls. We can supply towels for muddy paws. Please advise when booking if you plan to bring a dog. Please note we have a dog on the premises directly adjacent to this property with some shared ground. Dogs must not be left in the property alone.
