Even the legendary "genius loci" comes to us for inspiration! We offer pleasant accommodation in the former manor house above the unique medieval castle Křivoklát. The stone from which our house was built remembers the hands of contemporaries of Michelangelo Buonarroti, William Shakespeare… The house is adjacent to a direct footpath to Křivoklát Castle (360 m). The same footpath will take you to the village, to several nodes of hiking trails, to the information center of the Czech Forest, to the shop (270 m), to the restaurant (315 m) and to the children's playground (230 m). The space The interior of the house breathes lavender and rosehip tea, which you can drink chilled in summer on the terrace or in winter in front of a blazing fireplace. You will have a fully equipped kitchen, coffee (french press) and tea (the sofa can be modified to an extra bed for 1 person), a room with a fireplace and a supply of wood (double bed + sofa bed) and a separate bathroom in the hall. There's a parking space in front of the house. Other things to note Activities: 1) Tasting of beers from local breweries We offer beer tasting from the Chříč brewery - according to the current offer. The Chříč brewery produces great beers with imaginative flavors, names and, at first glance, funny graphics on the labels. By consuming, you will not only support your good mood, but also the operation of the Pivoňka school and help people with mental or physical disabilities. Occasionally we also offer beer from the Matuška brewery. 2) Escape game Robo from Křivoklát Robo II. will become your guide along the mysterious paths of Křivoklátské. The mad scientist Alfons Kirke built a robot that was supposed to help him find a secret elixir hidden in the castle using his sensitive circuits. The robot has a neural network of the latest generation and its artificial intelligence has endowed it not only with the acumen of genius, but also with a sense of humor or mischief. Robo II. remembers the way to the secret Elixir, and therefore, if treated well, will lead you to the goal. However, it will not be without work. A series of puzzles and tasks will torment your brain threads and light up a spark in your eyes. The game is also suitable for families with children. A heavy door slams behind you and you find yourself in a medieval cell in which Rudolf II imprisoned the alchemist Edward Kelley in the 16th century. Take a journey into the mysterious past, engage your wit, solve puzzles and try to get back to the daylight in 69 minutes. You will spend an unlimited time by the Berounka River with the owner of the house and his fishing equipment. You will most likely witness 0 catches, catch 0 fish, but drink 7 beers together... 5) Commemorative photo Do you want a professional photo together in one of the beautiful places of Křivoklátsko? We will arrange an appointment with the artistic photographer Josef Seibert, who is also a surveyor and the author of the photographs on our website. 6) Wooden bird painting Make a souvenir. You will receive a hand-carved bird figurine made of lime wood directly from the carver. You will paint it… the price for the figurine is 90 CZK, we will lend you watercolors and a brush or you can bring the colors you prefer. 7) Purchase original souvenirs We run a shop - a gallery at the castle, where you can buy art objects and original souvenirs, which are created mostly at home or in the workshops of our friends. You will also find ceramics, toys, pictures… and lavender cosmetics. You can also buy paintings that decorate the walls of the kitchen and rooms. 8) Boat rental and assistance with related logistics
