The Orangery

Lovely converted Orangerie in the heart of Calvisson. You will be a stone's throw away from the famous Sunday markets and many local shops and village events. A brand new secluded pool is yours to enjoy on the terrace, with 4 sunbeds and parasol. A very efficient stove/fireplace in the living room, which is available for use. The space Upon entering L'Orangerie, you will enter the internal courtyard/games room (with TV, sofa, mini fridge). From here there is a recently renovated guest suite with ensuite bathroom and Italian shower. Venturing under the grand arch you will find a second en-suite bedroom. Last but not least, there is the spacious master en-suite bedroom with lovely exposed stone walls and wooden beams. A Laundry room completes the downstairs accommodation with washing machine and dryer. On the upper floor, the open plan living room/kitchen diner spans the entire floor with towering ceilings, a newly installed super efficient fireplace with heat activated distribution fans, an office area and large 65" TV with Netflix, Surround Sound and Chromecast TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with Dishwasher, Oven, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Hob, Nespresso Machine, Thermomix, Toaster, Kettle, Wok, Raclette Machine, Fondue Set, and Farmhouse Sink. All the lights are smart and can be customised with Phillips Hue Scenes for a very cosy experience. The entire home is controlled from a Google Home device, from the doorbell, all the lights, to music playable throughout the house in sync from 5 devices around the house. Outside, there is a covered dining area offering a private, sheltered and elevated outdoor dining option, alongside an expansive terrace with 4 sunbeds, 2 patio chairs and a large outdoor dining table with 6 dining chairs. There is a BBQ you can use. The Pool has been recently upgraded with a state of the art stylish liner. The pool maintains comfortable temperatures from May through October. With an extremely fast Fiber Internet connection, working from the South of France has never been easier. There is a keyboard, mouse and large widescreen monitor for use. WiFi is strong throughout the house with a professional Mesh network (much better than with extenders) Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself, with just the basement containing the heating and pool systems restricted. Two public and free car parks are located on the edge of the old center a few steps from L'Orangerie. The pool will be checked and cleaned prior to arrival. In winter, there is a gas heating system that heats all the bedrooms with radiators, as well as an underfloor heating system for the kitchen and living room. The fireplace generates a significant amount of heat when needed for the living room, and will keep going through the night if stocked properly. All household consumables are provided for the duration of stay (wood, dishwasher tablets, toiletries etc.), as well as a selection of kitchen staples and a welcome basket. Other things to note There is plenty to do in the area, from hiking, biking, golf, exploring Roman Ruins, as well as the local vinyards. The 6x3m Pool is salt based (much better for your skin and eyes), and is a fully automated system that generates the exact amount of required Chlorine and manages the PH. The fans, high ceilings, thick stone walls and open windows keep the house cool inside. The bedrooms (being underground) are even cooler and remain at a comfortable temperature for sleeping.
