Quiet home close to beautiful coastal country park

This sweet & spacious cottage in peaceful Fairlight is only a 5 minute walk from the beautiful clifftops of Hastings Country Park and an 8min drive to Pett Level beach. The large garden has glimpses of Rye Bay & the sea and attracts garden birds, squirrels, badgers & foxes. Just 10 minutes from Hastings Old Town, and 20 to ancient Rye or Battle, this is the perfect base to explore 1066 country. Fairlight has no street lights, allowing wonderful views of the stars & planets on clear nights. The space There are two bedrooms in the bungalow and a sofa bed in the living room, which leads into the garden extension dining room. There is a main bathroom with bath and toilet accessed from the hallway, plus an en-suite with shower and toilet adjacent to the main bedroom. There is also an additional toilet next to the utility space. You can get to the patio and large garden through the bifold doors of the extension. The kitchen is clean and well equipped with a washing machine, gas cooker, fridge freezer, toaster and more. Beyond the Kitchen there is a utility space at the back with a small porch, and additional (steep, but with hand railing) steps leading down to the garden from there. If you would like to feed the birds, squirrels, foxes and (occasional) badgers then there is usually some food in there for them. There is a small wildlife pond at the bottom of the garden. It is very shallow but still beware if you have very small children. There is a summer house where you will find a few toys as well as the patio table and chair set and washing line. The large bedroom will have the mirror side of the wardrobe plus the white chest of drawers for your use. The smaller bedroom has a few games, puzzles and toys that you are welcome to play with. Guest access You are welcome to use any part of the house apart from the Music Room in the front, which will be kept locked.
