Welcome to The Pond Cottage, a serene studio cottage nestled on 4+ acres of lush Pacific Northwest beauty. Though compact, this clean and cozy retreat offers privacy, peaceful nature views, and easy access to some of Bellingham’s best outdoor activities. The space The cottage is perfect for two, featuring a living area that doubles as the bedroom, a small dining table, and a private patio where you can unwind with the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall and birdsong. Depending on the season, the waterfall may roar or softly whisper. The kitchenette comes equipped with essentials like an induction cooktop, a convection toaster oven, a mini fridge, sink and a coffee & tea set up. On the private patio you'll find a gas grill and fire pit. Outdoor Adventure Awaits! Step out of the cottage and into the heart of nature! We’re located between Larrabee State Park and the Interurban Trail, giving you direct access to miles of hiking, beach walks, mountain biking, paddling, and more. Guest access The Pond Cottage is a separate building, located on several acres along with a main house where we live as well as our long term tenant and their art studio . We ask guest's to respect our tenants' privacy but let us (in the main house) know if you need anything. Quiet hours after 8pm. Feel free to wander the back of the property to view the pond or waterfall! Bring your yoga mat if you'd like to meditate or stretch on the platform with the waterfall as your background sound! Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: Cell service is spotty at our property. We encourage guests to connect to wifi and enable wifi calling if they need to make calls.
