Description
Tucked away in Globe Cove, the last of the Sardine Shacks that housed the workers of Globe Canning waits for you. Views of the islands, views of the colorful working waterfront, an outdoor dining area, easy access to the shore to launch your own watercraft, close to West Quoddy and the Cobscook Shores trail system! Please note this is an old home with some funky aspects, but if you are active and want a place to relax after a day of hiking or sightseeing this is a spot you'll love. The space Consider this a step back in time, a sort of hard shell Glamping experience! If you don't know what glamping is and can't access the magic of the internet, I'm saying it's like camping in a big wooden tent, where the presence of basic amenities has the feel of luxury because nature is RIGHT THERE. The Shack is rustic, similar to what we call camps in Maine a place to rest your head, essential cooking and bathroom facilities, but a view to die for. Guest access You'llhave the entire home with its great views to yourself. There’s seating outside with a couple of comfy Adirondack chairs for relaxing. And the outside dining area features additional chairs and a small table to enjoy your grilling efforts. Other things to note You may notice some dates blocked out on the calendar. Some of those are dates that it would be difficult to check in due to limitations on my cleaner's availability. Not impossible, just difficult. Also sometimes the blocking of a single day for cleaning creates more automatically blocked days due to minimum stay requirements. So if you are looking for a stay that overlaps some blocked dates, you may be able to stay longer. Shoot me an inquiry if you have questions. In short we can most likely make it happen- just ask!
