The Chapel Street Guesthouse, Close to Sandbanks

The Chapel Street Guesthouse is a historic Victorian cottage, built in 1860. This picturesque two-story, double dormer, red brick house is located in the heart of downtown Picton, just off the main strip, close to breweries, wineries, restaurants, shops, and a short drive to Sandbanks! Decorated with Christmas lights outside, garland and a Christmas tree inside, The Chapel Street Guesthouse is all yours to experience. You’ll have the full house and property to yourself throughout your stay! The first floor features a great front foyer where you’ll be amazed by the historic brick floor. There is a large living room with a mounted TV (and Netflix), a gas fireplace and a reading nook. There is a space to set up your computer if you have any work to do, as well as a powder room complete with laundry. There is a large kitchen, with a breakfast bar/eating area, and our dining room can seat everyone comfortably. Walking up to the second floor, the staircase splits into two ways; going left will lead you to your three bedrooms, and the captain's bed. Going right, you’ll find your way to the beautiful and spacious four-piece washroom, complete with a jacuzzi bathtub! The backyard is a small courtyard but very private. Our neighbours are 555 Brewery (enjoy the smell of wood-fired pizza) and County Fireplace (which closes at 4:30 pm during the week, and 2:00 pm on Saturdays). New as of Spring 2024: Guests of The Chapel Street Guesthouse can now enjoy their very own sauna! One Sandbanks Beach Pass is included for use during your stay! We are a licensed STA with Prince Edward County and abide by all rules and regulations. ST-2021-0262 R4 Guest access You'll have full access to the home and property all to yourself! This includes all indoor and outdoor areas, including the driveway, sauna, back courtyard, etc. Other things to note As a token of our appreciation for booking with us, please enjoy a cool tote bag you can bring to the beach or around shopping! It's yours forever. Please refrain from cutting flowers from the gardens! We work really hard to get our gardens looking great, and hydrangeas are temperamental and don’t like to be cut mid-season.
