Perfect for a relaxed midweek escape, quiet workation of quality time together. The space The living room is an intimate, cosy place to get together. Soft fabrics, deep tones and a rich look immediately create that luxurious hotel feeling. Enjoy a long evening dining, a good glass of wine or a relaxing movie night. Through the French doors, you can step into the garden, where the wellness facilities await you. The open kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and dining together. You can sit comfortably at the dining area for an extensive dinner or a quiet start to the day. The three bedrooms are stylishly and attractively decorated, with comfortable beds and hotel-quality linen. The master bedroom has a French balcony and a nice workspace, ideal for a midweek getaway or a quiet workation. The bathroom has a luxurious walk-in shower and a warm, well-kept look. A place to start the day relaxed and end it in peace. In the sheltered garden you immediately feel the privacy and tranquillity. The greenery around it gives a forest-like atmosphere, while the terrace invites you to spend long evenings outside. Relax in the hammock under the trees, light the barbecue for an elaborate dinner or take a seat by the outdoor fireplace as soon as evening falls. The crackling fire and the soft light make it particularly atmospheric here even after sunset. The wood-fired hot tub and barrel sauna form the heart of this garden. Warm water, wood fire and silence provide that real wellness feeling, whether it's summer or a cool winter's day. The firewood package can be booked optionally. Retro Chic is located in a green and water-rich park in the Land van Maas en Waal. From the house, you can walk or cycle directly along floodplains, dikes and charming villages. The park's swimming pool is within walking distance. Directly behind it is a larger recreational area with a beach and extra activities in summer. At the park you will find a restaurant with terrace and various facilities. For those who like to seek out the liveliness: within 10 minutes you are in the cosy centre of Nijmegen or Wijchen. The Gardens of Appeltern and Hernen Castle are also beautiful excursions in the area. Guest access You can park one car at the bungalow itself. Additional cars can be parked free of charge at the entrance to the park. Other things to note – The firewood package (wood & firelighters) for the hot tub and sauna is not included. The cost is €45 per night. – It is also possible to bring your own suitable wood. – The property is suitable for families and quiet groups. – Parties and events are not allowed. – In accordance with the park rules, work-related stays (e.g. for workers or contractors) are not permitted.
