Casa Hamilton is a family home perfectly located, as it is only minutes away from the city centre. This unique Victorian house has been newly restored and offers bright, spacious rooms with a quirky touch. We are one minute walk distance from the Meadows, a 15mins walk to both Royal Mile and Castle, and 20mins to Princes Street. This is one of three rooms available for bookings. A stone’s throw from the city centre, this room is perfect for travellers who want a cozy space to come home to after an exciting day exploring Edinburgh! The double bed boasts a comfortable, supportive mattress and feather duvet. Shelves and hanging space is also available for your personal use. Put your feet up and relax with a cup of tea or coffee by the expansive shuttered window overlooking Barclay Church, or set your laptop on and plan tomorrow’s adventures with fast and reliable Wifi. Just down the hall, you can enjoy the shared modern shower room with a toilet, bidet, hot shower, and underfloor heating. Towels and hairdryer are provided. There is central heating in the bedroom and bathroom. Please just let us know if you get too hot or too cold and we can adjust accordingly! Guest access The room is on the second floor of the house. Guests will be given a set of keys for the duration of their stay. Use of the microwave in the kitchen is available as well as an allocated space in the fridge. We will be happy to show you around where crockery is stored. Guests are welcome to relax in our south-facing front garden. Guests who will stay with us will get information on local businesses for breakfast at a discounted rate and lots more of other good recommendations. Other things to note We provide clean bedding and towels at the start of your stay which are changed as standard once a week. If you would like clothes washed there are a number of local launderettes and dry cleaner services. An iron and ironing board can be arranged on request. We can also help arrange drop off and collection of dry cleaning. We will also be happy to book a taxi for you if you need one. This is a relaxed house, and we very much hope that you will feel comfortable and at home during your stay. The house is non-smoking, yet you may smoke outside. We also request for you to provide full names of all guests who are checking in when you book the room.
