Room 5 is one of several "highlights" in the room offer. It is a spacious stately 2 room suite. In the first room there is again a beautiful historic fireplace, beautiful stucco ceiling, a contemporary, comfortable box spring bed, headboard, wardrobe, the extra bed and bedside table are all from a single source. Both rooms of this suite have two windows and are bright and friendly. The first room still has a mirrored chest of drawers, a central Biedermeier seating group comes from the original furnishings of the remarkable Kiesling mill, today's "second home" in Unterthürnau. The so-called tower room, the second room, is one of the most beautiful in the whole castle for me.It is still completely preserved with richly interned wall paneling with the original baroque built-in cupboards and a fireplace niche built into the wall, including the old paneled parquet floor. The wall paneling, the built-in historical furniture as well as the wonderful desk have been professionally embedded and refreshed with the help of a restorer. The cast-iron stove from the mid-18th century was also restored and lovingly polished. It is a room with an unbelievable atmosphere, actually a spatial experience. An intimate writing retreat in a class of its own. It has been sparingly furnished with an extra bed, two Art Nouveau features and a floor lamp for cozy, contemplative and productive hours.
