Description
Our home is a perfect place to escape and relax. A spacious and social downstairs living area leads out into the garden where the sliding doors can be fully opened. The open plan downstairs is great for socialising, cooking and playing while enjoying the garden and light. Afternoons and evenings are particularly enjoyable as west facing and perfect for sunsets. Centrally located in Sussex you have country walks, the coast, local villages and Brighton all close by. The space A front driveway provides plenty of parking space. There is a small lawn at the front and a side gate that leads to a spacious back garden with views over fields (what we love most about our home!). The main living area downstairs is open plan (kitchen, dining, living room). There is a downstairs bathroom (with bath) and also a playroom (which is where the stairway is). Upstairs there is a landing which leads to the 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (with shower). The pink room bed is a single that also slides out to become a double bed (just let us know which you would like). An extra single mattress bed can also be placed in the blue bedroom. The sofa downstairs in the sitting room is also a pull out double bed which provides further sleeping options. This means up to 8 people can be easily accommodated. The garden is a great open space for playing, entertaining and simply relaxing in (reading in the hammock in the shade of the tree is our fave). Depending on the time of day and weather, there are options to eat at the dining table (with sliding doors open or closed) or at the outdoor dining table and sofa chairs on the terrace (they can also be moved to the bottom of the garden!). If you have children, camping at the bottom of the garden also comes highly recommended. While the house is family friendly, the pond and steps around the house and garden make it only suitable for children 5yrs upwards who can manage and be trusted with this. We are also in the process of building a garden room next to the garage at the side of the garden. Guest access Only the garage (storage) and one room downstairs (used as an office and for business) will remain out of bounds. The rest of our home is all open to you. Other things to note We remain contactable throughout your stay and have lovely local neighbours and contacts on hand if needed. A local neighbour feeds our cat and fish and waters the garden once a day, however if you are happy to do these things during your stay then that is amazing. If not, we will liaise with you on timings when the neighbour will pop around. There are lots of local walks which we will leave out details of for you together with other local excursions that may be of interest (nearby towns, walks, gardens, beaches etc.) If you have any questions or need any inspiration then do just ask.
