The Overlook is the perfect location for your next getaway! Our brand new one bedroom cabin is furnished with all new appliances & furniture. We are pet friendly and hope you bring your furry buddies so they too can enjoy a wonderful getaway! Enjoy the full-size kitchen with refrigerator, stove, cookware, and dinnerware for two. We also supply the cooking utensils. We have many extras such as a microwave, a toaster, and coffee pot. The bedroom has a new queen size mattress, flat screen tv, a small closet with shelves and a bench. The bathroom has a basic stand up shower (big enough for 2), plenty of clean towels and washcloths. We also provided a hair dryer, first aid kit and of course plenty of toilet paper! Outside we have a clean well managed hot tub, a picnic table a large fire pit and we can also provide firewood ($5.00 per bundle, delivery included). We have gas grill for those who enjoy outdoor cooking (we provide the gas). There is also a large deck that overlooks the beautiful stocked pond. The pond is stocked with bluegill, bass and catfish (please bring your own fishing equipment). If fishing isnt your thing then enjoy a romantic ride on the new paddle boat. The cabin and all the included amenities are located on a heavily wooded 200 acre lot. We have a few hiking trails but are still adding more and hope to be finished by the end of the summer. I highly recommend to all guests that come to the Hocking Hills area to stop and check out my favorite hiking spot called Rockstull. It is just 2 1/2 miles from the cabin and is the areas best kept secret! Guests can access the entire property. Including the private pond and over 200 acres of hiking trails. I live less than 2 miles away from the property, so I am available when needed. Cabin and Pond. Farmhouse and farm fields across the road.
