Campy little cabin with epic forest views and lots of peaceful outdoor space to explore! Fishing creek in the backyard that connects to Lake Livingston. Less than a mile from Bethy Creek Marina. Perf for families, couple's getaways, groups of friends, or the solo traveler. Take the canoe for a spin! Cast a line in the creek outback! Relax on the porch! Play some vintage games! Make a campfire! Chill in the hammock! Explore surrounding nature! Dip in the creek or a swim in the nearby lake! Our weekend cabin is a stylish quirky retreat with two bedrooms and two baths. The master bedroom has a quaint queen bed and access to its own bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and access to a hall bath with a tub shower. Both bedrooms have their own closets. Clean bedding and towels are included. Random toiletries all around. Relax in the living room on our grandpa sleeper sofa or leather couch looking out the giant picture window that faces the forested hillside. We offer Wi-Fi, a TV with Roku/Streaming ability, and some vintage games and cards. Use our campy kitchen with a stove, a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, and mix-matched curated plates, cups, and all the cooking utensils you could ask for. Washer & Dryer are also available for use. You have the whole place to yourselves! We are located on a large lot with no immediate neighbors, so lots of room to roam and explore. There is also a creek in the backyard (public property) so you can tale it all the way up to Lake Livingston. I live about an hour away, so call or text if you need anything or have any questions! Our creek-side home is located in a quaint, secluded neighborhood nestled in the forest. There are no direct neighbors on all four sides of the property, so you feel like you're in a world of your own, even though, technically, you're in a little neighborhood with all its amenities. Our comfy cabin nestled in the woods has it all! Great for small families, couple’s getaways, groups of friends looking to catch up, or the solo traveler. Located ~1 hour north of Houston, 3 hours from Dallas, and 3 hours from Austin. For lake life lovers- our cabin is located less than a mile away from Bethy Creek Resort on the north end of Lake Livingston. Bethy Creek offers a sandy beach swimming area, a boat ramp, boat rentals, and a fishing pier. For fishing folks- cast a line in the creek in our backyard! Lots of hungry perch, catch bass, crappie and catfish. Take our canoe and paddle up the creek to where it connects to Bethy Creek (lake) and Lake Livingston! Lots of great bass spots along the way. Less than a mile. For nature enthusiasts- relax to the sound of wind blowing through the trees, the birds chirping and being surrounded by a lush forest and all its neat offerings. Lounging in our mosquito-protected hammock, or chilling on our back porch is considered an activity. Want to explore more? We are a stone’s throw away from the Sam Houston National Forest and the Davy Crockett National Forest. Park anywhere in the front yard, or on the street. I personally like pulling up right to the front porch for easy unloading. The neighborhood is very golf cart friendly. Lots of people take them to/from Bethy Creek Marina down the street. You can also get to the marina and the nearby lake via our canoe on the creek outback. The creek is deep enough for a canoe or kayak. Some neighbors said that they have put a small boat it it, but we have not tried it yet. Seems like some fallen trees may block access to the lake from our cabin. Bethy Creek Marina is less than a mile away. They have a boat ramp there if you wish to bring a big boat. Guests are welcome to use our charcoal grill in the outdoor space (please bring charcoal and lighter fuel in the event we are low). Snuggle up around the campfire at night and watch the firefly’s dance. Bright stars can be spotted through the trees. Our little cabin is good in all seasons. Also there are good wineries nearby!
