Welcome to the Grant Park getaway, a cozy one bed unit nestled amongst the trees on a brick-paved street in one of ATL's most historic neighborhoods. Start your morning savoring coffee on the spacious patio deck and with a stroll on the Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail just 2 blocks away. Finish the day at one of the multiple breweries and restaurants at the Beacon complex just a 5 min walk. Great proximity to hotspots including Summerhill, Inman Park, Zoo, EAV, Downtown, Reynoldstown, and more. The space This is the back unit of a duplex I own and live in the front unit. There is parking in the back where the stairs lead up to the private patio and entrance to this apartment. There's a central room with a fully equipped kitchen (stove top, oven, dishwasher) also with a desk and a cool chair. The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and loveseat with a mounted adjustable TV to watch from either place. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of vanity space. You'll love the large shower. The water pressure is good too! Towels, bed linens, and coffee are provided. We are very pet-friendly - you will see dog hair. Please be aware that this place is not allergy-friendly since it is pet-friendly. We welcome cats and dogs. The backyard has a fenced dog yard. The unit has central heating and air with your own thermosta. During the summer, we do place a portable A/C unit in the apartment as supplemental insurance against the Atlanta heat! Guest access You'll access the apartment via your private entrance with keypad door so you can come and go as you please. There's also a backyard with a picnic table, chairs and a disc golf cage for your leisure activities. The basement has your own washer and dryer, as well as additional storage if necessary. The backyard has a fully fenced private dog park. Other things to note Keep in mind that this is a residential area. No music after 10pm. This is a top floor unit (second floor) so you won't hear any footsteps. Phew! You will have to go up a flight of exterior stairs to reach your private patio and apartment. Your unit is the only unit up there so it is very private. This entire property is only a total of 2 units. The other unit enters from the front of the house. You enter from the back. This space is a well-designed 500 square foot studio apartment. This space may seem small to some guests. I happen to think it is the absolute perfect size for an Airbnb! After booking your stay, you will add guests in your travel group to the reservation. They will be able to join the Airbnb message thread. We only give out check-in instructions via Airbnb messages, so make sure your group is included on the reservation. Your travel group will also receive access to the Wi-Fi password and the property address. If you want to extend your stay, you can do that by going to "Change Reservation." If the dates you want are blocked feel free to ask us because we might just be blocking a night on your check-out day for cleaning. Parking is in the gravel lot behind the house. Then go up the staircase to your unit. Do not park in the driveway because you will block the flow of cars. Congratulations - you found the secret phrase! Please include the phrase "Patria" to show us you read the entire listing. That is the name of a restaurant you can walk to! There is a washer and dryer available for you to use in a locked basement. We will provide the code to you. It is directly under your unit. This is not photographed due to it being in an unfinished basement. Book for 30+ night or 90+ nights to reduce taxes.
