Relax at this cozy, well-appointed cottage on the Clay Brook, where you can enjoy the sound of the river amidst a peaceful, wooded setting. Although it feels remote, we are conveniently located at Sugarbush Access Rd and Rte 100, making us easy to find! With all of Mad River Valley attractions nearby, the cottage is perfect for year-round enjoyment, whether you wish to cool off in the brook, roast marshmallows at the fire pit after hiking, admire the fall foliage, or unwind after skiing! The space The space has everything you need for a relaxing stay! The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils--pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, as well as a Keurig coffeemaker, K-cups, and tea. The living area has dining space for two, a comfortable sofa, free-standing gas fireplace, and flat screen TV. The queen bed has pillows and extra blankets, and the bathroom has towels along with soap, shampoo, and conditioner in a glass-enclosed shower. Outdoor space includes a deck with gas grill, table, and chairs. Step off the patio to enjoy a fire pit (firewood is on site and available for use) and easy access to fishing (native brook and rainbow trout). There is also a convenient, well-lit carport in parking area for use on snow days. Guest access Please note that guests will walk about 175 feet from the parking area, across a grassy path, and down rustic stone steps with a railing to get to the cottage on the Clay Brook.
