Situated on one of the shallowest gradients in the lake, my children have had worry free swimming off the dock their entire childhood. The east side location also provides amazing sunsets over rolling hills that many people have kept as screen savers for years. Surrounded by mature trees and a large deck, the cottage also offers shady greenspace for those looking for an escape from the sunshine. Situated next to beautiful Penetanguishene, the cottage is an hour and a half drive from Toronto and 15 minutes away from a Grocery store & LCBO. Awenda Provincial park kisses the top of the Lake, providing access to hiking and offroad biking trails for the outdoor adventurer. Down the road from Georgian Bay, those with access to a boat can easily transport it and go for day travels around Lake Huron.
