The kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee maker and a Senseo coffee maker. You also don't have to worry about dishwashing liquid, dishcloths and dish towels. The bathroom, which is used exclusively by you, has a shower, toilet and a hand sink. Towels, sheets and hairdryer are provided free of charge. We are happy to welcome you to our apartment. The Altenstein apartment is furnished in a country house style, with a lot of love for detail. The building was built in 1830 and renovated with a lot of attention to allergy-friendly building materials. Altenstein is located on the Burgenstraße (Deutscher Burgenwinkel) in the Haßberge Nature Park. We are the interface of the historic cities of Bamberg, Coburg and Schweinfurt. Würzburg is also suitable for a day trip. The castle museum and castle ruins are 100 m from the apartment. 300 m away you can refresh yourself on hot days in the Altenstein outdoor pool. Our vision will remain in your memory and the romantic ambience of the illuminated castle ruins at night will enchant you. Some baths and spas are located in the nearby surroundings. Nature in and around Altenstein invites you to hike and cycle. Fans of castles and palaces will get their money's worth. Connoisseurs will also be spoiled, because to our right is the Lower Franconian wine country and to our left stretches the beer country of Upper Franconia, with the highest brewery density in the world. Altenstein obtains its drinking water from a spring in the Altenstein Forest with very good drinking water quality.
