Description
The charming duplex-style apartment is located in an old Ticino house expertly restored in 2022 (Cà Nizza) in Marolta, a hamlet of Acquarossa. The place offers the possibility of a relaxing and regenerating stay in a so-called "energy place" in contact with nature and the traditions of one of the most fascinating valleys of the Southern Alps. The building, built starting from the end of the 1700s, retains the typical characteristics of the time. The space The apartment takes its name from the presence in the living room of an original Pigna (ancient soapstone stove) dated 1789 and is characterized by the skillful integration of ancient elements (solid granite and wood floors, original ceiling beams, restored doors and details) with the most modern comforts (combined kitchen, exposed fireplace, bathtub with whirlpool). The furniture is also a mixture of tradition and modernity: refined and functional at the same time to allow you to fully enjoy the particular energy that the house emanates. The layout is structured on two floors: kitchen and living room on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms with bathroom on the first floor, all connected by a comfortable solid walnut wood staircase. The apartment also has an outdoor terrace for exclusive use (accessible directly from the living room) from which you can reach the house's large common garden. The building's ancient vaulted cellars are also accessible and offer the possibility of enjoying some local delicacies (cheeses, wines, etc.). Guest access Marolta is easily accessible by car on a convenient road. Free parking is available next to the house for guests. Additional parking is available in a public parking lot located 50 meters from Cà Nizza. Reaching Marolta by public transport is more complicated because the last stretch of road - from the Traversa bus stop to Cà Nizza - is not served. It will have to be covered on foot or by arrangement with third parties. For those who choose this option, it will be useful to consult the official timetables, in particular those of the Bleniesi Bus Line. There are no shops or restaurants in Marolta. However, there are several in the area, reachable by car in 10/15 minutes. Other things to note Ideal for couples or families who want to spend one or more weeks immersed in the beautiful scenery offered by the natural basin in which Marolta is located, in an ancient building full of history, but without sacrificing privacy and modern comforts. The place offers countless possibilities for hiking or mountain biking, either directly from the house or after short trips to the Lucomagno region, the Greina valley or the Nara area. The following spaces and amenities are also available for shared use: • garden with stone table, umbrella, deck chairs and grill • cellar with "grotto" equipped with everything you need to organize a snack or enjoy an aperitif based on local products in a cool and suggestive environment Registration Details NL-00005730
