The Cottage is surrounded by a wonderful lawn, where there are also typical Tuscan olive trees. At the end of the lawn, the woods begin, with chestnut trees and native Mediterranean essences of the area. The entire property is safe, completely fenced, to ensure guests have a peaceful and carefree stay, away from the stress of modern life. The Collogrande Country Cottage is located just 1 km from the village of Monticiano, but in a reserved, private and exclusive area, where guests' privacy is fully protected. The area surrounding the town of Monticiano is surrounded by centuries-old chestnut woods, rivers and streams with pristine, fresh and clear water. In the autumn, Monticiano becomes a destination for those seeking delicious mushroom species. In the center of the village is the beautiful Medieval Complex of the former Convent of St. Agostino, in which the Sanctuary of Beato Antonio Patrizi is located, where after eight centuries the uncorrupted body of the Blessed Saint is still preserved intact. Adjacent to the Sanctuary is the Museum of Sacred Art, named after the latter, where you can also admire a work by the famous Sienese artist Lorenzetti.
