People won't be able to see your cabin or cars from the street below so it's really private--even when the leaves are gone. Only 4 steps going into the cabin. The main floor deck is entirely under roof, featuring a newer hot tub, dining table and ceiling fan. If you've got little ones or a family pet, you'll appreciate the rolling gate to enclose the deck. The upper porch looks out to the mountains in the distance but the trees do occlude the view during warmer months. INDOORS Inside the 1,300 square foot cabin, it's all about comfort and convenience. We've tried to think of features and amenities that will make your stay more relaxing. A thoughtfully designed kitchen with quality cookware and small appliances...built-in recliners in the sofa...and new memory foam beds with cooling gel technology. KITCHEN There's a fully updated kitchen for you, complete with cutting boards, knife block, 5 quart crock pot; Keurig, electric kettle and regular coffee maker; waffle maker, blender and Ninja smoothie maker. The new layout (remodeled 2025) gives you a much better prep space plus a generous island. You'll love the large drawers. Easy access to pots, pans and bakeware. BEDROOMS Upstairs, you'll find both king bedrooms and a full bath. Each bedroom features a TV with a YouTubeTV subscription, large closet and a ceiling fan. The upstairs bathroom has a tiled shower plus a newly resurfaced jetted tub. The mattresses were updated in the fall of 2024 and we've included a photo in the gallery with a full description of the cooling gel technology and how the mattress is constructed. We aim to provide a great sleep experience for all our guests so we chose the Novaform mattress because it strikes a really good balance. We have room-darkening curtains in the bedroom with french doors. The other bedroom has windows that face mostly north and has woven blinds at the windows. The sun doesn't shine into that bedroom room until mid afternoon. TECH The cabin has reliable and fast Xfinity high speed internet. There's a 65" flat screen TV in the living room plus a DVD/Blu-Ray player so you you can watch either format. All TVs have a YouTube TV subscription with 68+ channels of network TV, sports, weather and entertainment. If you'd like to sign in with your own apps, you're welcome to do so. Just remember to log out before heading home. If you need a quiet space to work, one of the bedrooms has a built-in desk and chair. FIRE FEATURES The propane fireplace is turned on in mid-October and is available until April 15. There's a 60 minute timer switch so it's easy to operate. There's also a fire table on the upstairs deck off the bedroom. It runs on propane and is simple to operate. The fire table is available all year 'round. Guest access You'll get the whole house and yard to yourself :)
