We thank guests before leaving to undo the sheets and fold them, clean the kitchen and store the dishes in the cupboards, empty the garbage cans and put the garbage bags in the garbage room of the residence. Ethanol fireplace: For your evenings by the fire, an ethanol fireplace is available for your use. Safety & Children: As our house welcomes families from all backgrounds, we do not provide ethanol to prevent any accidental risks involving young children. If you'd like to use it, please let us know when booking, and we will provide you with ethanol, which will be in the cupboard under the kitchen sink. If you haven't thought of it, you can easily buy some at the Carrefour Market located very close to the house (depending on the season). Mandatory precautions for use: • Filling: Never pour ethanol into a lit or still-hot fireplace. Wait at least 30 minutes for the appliance to cool down before refilling it. • Lighting: Ideally, use a long lighter (located in the drawer facing the staircase) or a long match to keep a safe distance from the flame when lighting. • Ventilation: Burning ethanol consumes oxygen. Please ensure that there is natural ventilation in the room (do not block the ventilation grilles; open a window slightly). • Handling: Never move the appliance while it is turned on. • Turning off: Wait for the ethanol to burn out. Never try to extinguish it by blowing on it or using water. • Flammable items: Keep a safe distance of at least 1 meter (3 feet) from any flammable items (curtains, cushions, rugs, paper, furniture); do not place anything on top of the fireplace.
