The cottage is within easy distance of Powys Castle and Montgomery Castle and many beautiful sites of interest. We are just outside the village of Berriew which features beautiful black and white cottages and has been Wales’s most beautiful village a number of times. With two pubs, a restaurant, butchers and well stocked local shop with post office we have great amenities. It is the perfect escape and offers local walks from the village and the nearby Offa’s Dyke path. With lots of local cafes and pubs to enjoy it really is a fabulous destination.
