11VINHA - Villa Vinha Villa Vinha has a heatable pool, air conditioning and panoramic views of the Pyrenees in the distance. Located among vineyards, on the outskirts of the picturesque, medieval village of Caunes-Minervois. Within walking distance you will find a small neighborhood supermarket, some restaurants, a tennis court and a beautiful abbey. Perfect environment for cycling and walking: you start from the villa. The surroundings are varied and peppered with remnants of the rich Cathar history. The famous Canal-du-Midi with all its locks, the beaches where you can order fresh oysters with chilled wines, the old fortified town of Minerve; there is so much to see and experience. Close by you will find Carcassonne, a famous fortified town with a castle Nearby is a large lake with a climbing forest and an aqua park. The villa is a beautiful combination of wood, glass and concrete. An elongated terrace, partly covered, stretches the length of villa Vinha. The view is impressively wide and completely free. On the covered terrace you will find a sitting area, a dining table and a plancha. Sliding doors give access to the kitchen. Continuing on, you pass a couple of bedrooms and then you come to the pool. The pool is heatable and secured with an electric roller deck. While swimming you can also enjoy the great view. On the terrace there are comfortable sun chairs waiting for you and for refreshment there is a shower. In the adjoining pool house there is a lounge set; there is also a refrigerator and running water. The lounge is large, spacious and beautiful with a concrete poured floor, large glass windows, nice (and comfortable) sitting area by a flat screen television that can also act as a virtual painting. The dining table is spacious and made from 1 piece of a tree. The chairs are comfortable and invite to long tables. The beautiful, very well-equipped and luxurious kitchen with Gaggenau appliances and wine refrigerator completes the living area of villa Vinha. In the hall is a table football table and there you have access to the bedrooms. All four bedrooms are for two persons. Two extra single beds can be added on request (for a fee). Two bedrooms have a private bathroom and the other two bedrooms share the third bathroom. A sustainable system has been installed in Villa Vinha: a heat pump provides a warm or cooled floor, which also heats the room. The temperature is not adjustable, but the difference with the outside is very pleasant and refreshing, even during the nights. This cooling system is indicated as air conditioning at this villa.
