A SALTER'S PATH is located in a quiet neighborhood. The upstairs apartment has a private entrance. (Queen-size bed and queen sleeper sofa.) The fully furnished kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, toaster oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, drop leaf table, and chairs. The living room has a TV w/Hulu, plenty of games, puzzles, and books for leisurely evenings. Sit around the fire pit in the backyard or the porch and enjoy a glass of wine. I welcome traveling nurses to stay. The space This property is in a quiet neighborhood and within walking/biking distance from downtown Beaufort. Beaufort is a historical town that will take you back to the 1700s. The double-decker bus tour will show you around town and the area's history. The Maritime Museum features Blackbeard's Queen Anne’s Revenge Artifacts and explores what working in the waters for a living around Beaufort was like. Beaufort has hosted a Pirate Invasion every year since the 1950s. Dressing like a pirate is a good idea, or they may just kidnap you and take you back to their encampment! If you can’t come that weekend, there is a pirate ghost walk you may want to checkout. Downtown Beaufort, has kayaking, paddleboarding, boat tours, and parasailing. Numerous boat trips are available for you to take and explore Cape Lookout, Rachel Carson Estuary, Sand Dollar Island, and Shackleford Banks, where the Spanish wild mustangs are located. Book the Crystal Coast Lady, tour the waterways, or take the Lookout catamaran on a sunset cruise. Oh, do not forget to spend time in downtown Beaufort; the shopping and the restaurants are fabulous. The living room has a work desk and a Queen sleeper sofa. A large TV and dresser are loaded with games, DVDs, and puzzles. You have access to Wi-Fi, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. You can put your cold beverages in the mini refrigerator for easy access. The kitchen dining room has just about all you need: a two-burner stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator with a freezer, toaster oven, staples, pots and pans, utensils, glasses, and dishes. You can also use a desk if you need to work away from the noise of the TV or games in the living room. The washer and dryer are on the back porch. PLEASE wash out sandy items before washing. There is a hose in the front of the house. Also, let me know when you want to use the washer and drier so I can ensure it is available. There is a clothesline in the back you are welcome to use. The firepit in the back is available for you to use. I'll show you the wood to burn first. There is a grill in the carport area. Guest access You have your own private entrance. There is a lock box by the front door. Just pull down the black window, enter the code, push down on the black button, and open the door. You will find a key on a lanyard inside the lock box. I will send you the code the day you arrive. Other things to note The apartment is dog-friendly. Please take your pet with you on your outings. Beaufort is a dog-friendly town with lots of outdoor dining. If it is too hot or cold and you don't want to take your pet, I have a crate you can use, so you don't have to bring yours. I also have a couch blanket. Please do not let them sleep in the beds or get up on the furniture unless you use the blanket.
