Come and enjoy nature in this house open 360° to the park that surrounds it (5,000 m2 of majestic trees), with a view of the valley. Its architecture is atypical, composed of an old house that is 600 years old and a barn transformed into a contemporary architecture. This house is perfect for families and friends (with babies or older children); you will feel at home. The space Welcome to our home! We are 2 architects based in Paris, who fell in love with the Perche region and this old farm 4 years ago. We have completely renovated it by setting the following objectives: - open the house as much as possible to the outside to enjoy the landscape of nature; be as ecological as possible with a layout highlighting the existing (tile floor, grindstone wall, half-timbered wall, etc.), - while adding a contemporary touch (cathedral living room; sliding bay window in the large 5m long living room; large sections of wood and glazing; etc.). The architecture of our house is atypical, composed of: - a house dating back more than 400 years - and a completely transformed barn with large openings and contemporary architecture. - a large enclosed garden of 5,000 m2 with majestic trees. Everything is connected, the house being on one level. The special feature of this house: a house open 360° to the park that surrounds it! Equipped with many openings that we have created in part (including a 5 m long bay window) for an experience of total disconnection, in the heart of nature (forest and fields around), with a view of the valley. The house, 1 km from the village, has no neighbors. It also includes 40 m2 of terrace. The house is perfectly suited for babies and children of all ages, with many games inside and outside: board games; books for all ages; ping-pong table; soccer cage; playground with ring swing and trapeze; molkky; indoor petanque; etc. We can provide all the necessary equipment for a baby: high chair; bathtub; folding crib; deckchair; changing mat; babycook; bottle warmer; stroller; etc. The house has a total of 2 living rooms, 1 kitchen and dining room, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 toilets. Sleeps 8 in total: - 1 large master bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with a bathtub; - 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 2 single beds; - 1 bedroom with a double bed. 2 other bathrooms: - 1 bathroom with bathtub; - 1 bathroom with shower and toilet. 1 other separate toilet. The house has 2 lounges: - 1 with a fireplace and desk - 1 in the large living space with open kitchen and dining room, largely open to the garden. The kitchen, open to the main living space, includes a central island. A warm gathering place. The kitchen is equipped with many appliances: coffee machine, washing machine, oven, microwave, toaster, raclette machine, mini pancake machine, waffle machine, mixer arm, etc. In the garden > Take a bath in the Swedish bath in the heart of the garden, or enjoy the Nordic bath among the trees. > Play ping-pong with friends or family. > Enjoy the playground with swings, rings and trapeze. > Play soccer with the soccer cage. > Sunbathe on the deckchairs. > Enjoy a game of pétanque on the gravel of the garden. House also ideal for teleworking, with a very good internet connection. You will find all the necessary amenities 8 minutes from the house (by car), in the village of Bazoche-Gouet. When you come, we will send you a detailed guide to the house as well as shops, restaurants, walks, activities and others nearby. Housekeeping, towels and sheets are included in the price. Parking is available on site (included in the rental price). Smoking inside is not allowed. Pets may be allowed upon request. Parties are not allowed. Living in Paris, Pascaline will welcome you on the spot on D-Day and accompany you during your stay. But we are always 100% reachable. WIFI, Washing machine, Dishwasher, Heating included, Stove, Fireplace, Barbecue, Deckchairs, Freezer, Terrace with dining table, Ping pong table, Soccer cage, Swedish bath, Petanque balls, Molki, Mini-Badminton; Raclette machine; Pancake machine; Waffle machine; etc. Other things to note The Swedish bath is available year-round in the garden amongst the trees. It is completely ecological and works without electricity (no hot tub). The water is heated using a wood-burning stove that you can feed yourself, which allows it to be adjusted to the desired temperature. This way you will enjoy the pleasures of a real Nordic bath.
