Welcome to `Gorgeous View Cabin`, a newly renovated, two-story, loft-style cabin that sleeps 7, nestled high over the Red River Gorge. “Gorgeous View” is no misnomer--enjoy amazing panoramic views of area rock formations (best viewed when the leaves have fallen) from the comfort of a new wrap-around porch, complete with patio furniture and a toasty hot tub. Located only 10 minutes from some amazing hiking opportunities, this is not a cabin you’ll want to miss! - Gorgeous View Cabin is pet friendly however pet fee of $100 does not show in total balance. We have a $100 pet fee that covers up to 2 dogs. Please contact directly after booking to add this $100 fee. - Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen (standard coffee maker and microwave), free WiFi, private hot tub, flat-screen TV with DirecTV, DVD player, gas fireplace, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, and Washer/Dryer. *Please note the foosball table pictured has been removed. - Sleeping Arrangements: Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: Twin Bunk Beds | Loft: Queen Bed | Air Mattress ​​​​​​​- Two full bathrooms - We provide fresh linens and towels. We also include essential starter packs to make your stay easier! (Starter packs include: 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towels, 3 shampoos and conditioners, 3 bar soaps, 3 laundry pods, 3 trash bags, and 1 sponge.) You will also need to bring your own firewood and charcoal for the grill. Please purchase firewood locally. - Please note that a 4-wheel drive is highly recommended. The cabin is located up a steep hill. Limited parking; vehicles exceeding 2 please park at the local park and ride and carpool to the cabin. Trailers prohibited. - Prime Red River Gorge location - Close to hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, zip lines, sight-seeing, restaurants, and much more. Chestnut Log Cabin Development - Dogs permitted with $100 fee. (Dogs only; maximum 2 allowed. Dogs need to be crated if left at the property alone.) Pet fee does not automatically add to your balance, please contact us to apply after booking. - Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival. - No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out. - Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year’s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
