Relax and read a good book in one of the Adirondack chairs on the comfortably furnished screened porch, or take a nap under the trees in the comfy hammock! Enjoy a view of the Ocracoke Lighthouse through a large picture window. Your vacation setting, enhanced by the reverse floor plan of this Ocracoke Island vacation home nestled in Widgeon Woods. Wild Peony offers a private deck off each bedroom. Located in a tranquil, secluded part of Ocracoke, Wild Peony is a great escape from everyday life. The Ocracoke Lighthouse, Springer's Point Nature Preserve, and Silver Lake Harbor are pleasant walks from your vacation cottage. 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: First Floor: 1 with Queen, 1 with 2 Twin beds. Full bath (shower only) and half bath. Second Floor: Primary Bedroom with Queen and private bath (shower only). All baths with showers only, no bathtubs. Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, two cable TVs, and surround sound stereo. Washer and dryer. No Fireplace. The exterior offers a rooftop deck, screened porch, decks, deck swing, large hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill, and fish cleaning bench. No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Non-working Fireplace. Limit of 2 vehicles. Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival. We do provide a Starter Kit containing 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, a small bottle of Palmolive dish soap, a trash bag for each can, and small bar of soap for each bathroom. Guests will need to bring additional supplies to last for the stay, or purchase at the Ocracoke Variety Store.
