This darling one-bedroom apartment is situated at the top of of a 1900s build, historical home. It’s breezy and light boho decor is accompanied by a queen sized memory foam bed, a walk in closet, and a full kitchen stocked with essentials. This apartment has gorgeous natural light, or you can lounge at the bistro table on the front porch, or the community garden out back. Less than one mile to Salem Health Center, Willamette University, and the Capital Building. WiFi is 500+ Mbps. The space There are four private apartments in this historical building, each with its own entry. No interaction with the other tenants. This is a cozy space- 650 sq feet. Perfect for a single person, or a romantic couple. This apartment has a queen sized memory foam bed, a bathroom with shower (no tub,) a full kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, and a full set of dishes, and a dining area with seating for two. Location is prime for traveling nurses, professors, and government officials. 1 mile to downtown Salem. Guest access You will be given a code to the front door of the building, and an additional code to your apartment. No keys to lose! The laundry facility is on the back side of the building, and is free to use. Other things to note This apartment is ideally for traveling professionals. In accordance with our agreement with the management company, upon booking we will also ask you for your ID, your email address, and to sign a Temporary Occupancy Agreement. This is a building built in the year 1900, so the staircase is quite steep. You must be able to climb stairs to access this apartment. Mail and packages are delivered to this address, but we really advise that you set up a PO Box at the Post Office or the UPS Store instead. There is not a dishwasher in this apartment. There is also not a couch. Lounging area is a soft corner chair with ottoman, or the egg cup chair, both located in the bedroom, or the dining table with comfortable, padded chairs. The outdoor area is shared with the other tenants. It’s an unfenced community garden and grassy area. This is a safe neighborhood, close to everything. It is also a capital city; which means an eclectic sort of people abound. That means you may hear homeless people yelling at night, or see them outside. Occasionally idiot drivers drag race down the street. There is also an airport nearby, as well as a train. The neighboring homes are all well maintained and gardened, except for the one directly adjacent to the east, which is covered in tarp, and is an eyesore. But you can’t see it from the apartment, only from the parking area.
