The Cottage and Nook is three bedroom property set in the beautiful and quiet village of Gretton, surrounded by lovely countryside. Set on the Winchcombe Way, Gretton is just two miles outside the Cotswold town of Winchcombe which has a host of pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. The cottage has cosy lounges, inglenook fireplaces, with log burning stoves for the winter, and gorgeous cottage charm throughout. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is walking distance and has great reviews. The space The Cottage has a large stylish kitchen diner seating 6 and has everything you need to cook a grand meal or hearty breakfast. The Cottage lounge has a beamed ceiling and an original inglenook fireplace fitted with a log burning stove. Welcoming sofas provide somewhere to relax after a long day. The Smart TV means you will not miss your favourite shows. From the lounge, the staircase takes you upstairs to the Cottage Master bedroom (with ensuite) and the second bedroom. The Cottage Master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with warm towels and a thermostatic shower. The second bedroom can be made up to single bed, twin beds or a kingsize double. All the beds are covered with fresh cotton sheets and scatter cushions. The family bathroom is situated on the ground floor with underfloor heating, a roll top bath and separate shower. The Nook can be accessed via the ground floor door from the hall. The Nook has its own independent lounge and kitchen diner. There is a further original inglenook fireplace and log burner in the lounge. The spiral staircase rises from the lounge up into the Nook Master bedroom and further en suite shower room. This room is not suitable for young children due to the spiral staircase. Outside there is a choice of seating areas including a terrace with large table and chairs with access to a gas BBQ that can be rented for your stay. This fee covers the cost of gas and cleaning. Guest access The whole of the Cottage and The Nook. There is parking for a total of 4 cars on the driveway but this will involve cars being blocked in. Other things to note Bedroom 2 has twin beds but this room can be made up into a single room, twin room or kingsize double if required. The double bedroom in The Nook is bijoux. This creates a romantic and cosy feel but there is limited space around the bed and this is only accessible from one side. For safety reasons the log burner is for use in cold weather only and you will be provided with kindling and a basket of logs. The cottage is situated on the road through the village. As a result there may be traffic noise, especially at busy times.
