RUSTIC HOUSE LEKOVIĆ

RUSTIC HOUSE LEKOVIĆ is my family house where every detail has been created, bought and set with a lot of love. The house is located 500 meters far away from the old village, and has a view toward the lake of Skadar and my vineyard. The space Godinje is a village situated in the Municipality of Bar, Montenegro, in a region called Crmnica,a region which tradition in grape vine cultivation and wine production is longer than five centuries. Now days Godinje is considered to be one of the best preserved rural environments that also has outstanding historical significance. Traditional architecture, stone houses with vaults and taverns, as well as buildings typical for former way of life such as mills, are dominant. Lately they are adapted for the modern living conditions, but have kept the old form and exterior appearance, representing real treat for lovers of traditional culture, untouched nature and high quality wine tasters. Godinje has 13 springs of drinking water that never dry up as well as nine mills, and the wine from this region was directly taken to the King Nicola’s castle. The vineyard is more than 150 years old, and next to it you can find organic vegetables and fruits, as well as honey hives. If you want to have fresh salad for your meal, you can always find it in my garden, or you would like to have a glass of high quality homemade wine or brandy (rakija) from Godinje, you will be able to buy it during your stay. RUSTIC HOUSE LEKOVIĆ has the main entrance that divides the house into two apartments of which one is for renting and the other is used daily by my father, my uncle and myself, and only if we have to work in vineyard and in the garden. The apartment consists of a big terrace at the first floor, with a view toward the lake and the vineyard, huge kitchen with complete dishes. The kitchen is connected with dining and living room. On the second floor are two bedrooms with balconies and the lake view. It is a very pleasant the feeling when you wake up in the morning, open the balcony door and there spreads a perfect view to the lake, and all around birds are singing. A bathroom is also located at the second floor. All the rooms have air-conditioning, cable tv and wifi connection. At the terrace you can find a barbecue that can be used on request.
