Burj Baneria, Cosy Boutique Stay with Lake View

On the slope of the Aravallis, on the west banks of Lake Pichola, is Burj Baneria, a Boutique Homestay, giving panoramic views of the Lake Pichola, City Palace and Jagmandir from every room and the rooftop restaurant area. Situated in Village Sisarma on the outskirts of the city, we are close to nature. The design of our home is in line with the heritage of the family, hence, it's an amalgamation of the old and new. With beautiful Mewar-styled arches and sit-outs on the rooftop terrace. It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Burj Baneria. Away from the hustle bustle of the city, one gets to experience its beauty and tranquility. Wake up to witness a beautiful sunrise from the room and watch the birds chirping away. Our home is surrounded by hills and on the border of the forest area. It offers an amazing view of the lakefront and historical buildings of Udaipur. This is a cosy and sophisticated stay for those who yearn for seclusion and yet be in close proximity to all places to visit in Udaipur. Each room is individually designed and offers a spectacular view of lake Pichola. We also have a rooftop dining area for the guests to enjoy their meals while gazing at the old-world charm of Udaipur. The food is prepared with freshly sourced ingredients. The guests can order food on ala carte basis. We are well equipped with all modern facilities for a comfortable stay and our ever so friendly staff is happy to attend to all the needs of the guest to make their stay memorable. Please note that the tariff includes breakfast. Homestay Policies:- 1. Check-in time is 12:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM. 2. There will be no in-room dining service. All meals are served on the rooftop terrace. 3. Homestay reserves the right to deny reservations to local residents of people residing in udaipur and are unmarried. 4. We reserve the right to deny admission to travelers of age 22 years or below , who are unaccompanied by a guardian/ parent 5. The kitchen remains closed between 3 PM to 6 PM in the afternoons. The last order for lunch is taken at 1:30 PM. 6. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking. There are designate smoking areas such as the common balconies near staircase & terrace. 7. The access to rooms and dining area is by stairs only. The guests can use various spaces in our home such as the welcome lounge, the common balconies on each floor, the sitting areas on the terrace and the dining area. If the guests are looking for absolute peace then they can go all the way to the top most terrace for Yoga or morning exercises. The owners are always available and happy to help the guests. They can provide assistance regarding the itinerary, commute and a guide if needed. The homestay is located in a rural area ( Village Sisarma) and faces the historically significant City Palace and Lake Pichola of Udaipur . We are located in the outskirts of the city. The City Palace and old city is a short scenic drive for 10 minutes from the homestay where one can spend their day visiting the museum and shop or go to the quaint cafes. One can also go for cycling around the lake. Sit and read or paint on the terrace as it is very peaceful. Our home has a quick access to: 1. The City Palace and the old city with a short drive around the lake for 10 minutes ( 4.8 km) 2. Sajjangarh (popularly known as Monsoon Palace) at a distance of 25 minutes (8.3 km) and, 3. Fateh Sagar Lake at a distance of 21 minutes (7.4 km). 4. Rental cabs are available to Burj Baneria from the airport, railway station and the bus stand. Please let us know a day prior to your arrival for any picks & drops. 5. Autos & cabs can be hired from our home. We need an intimation of half an hour to arrange the same. Navigation Instructions:- While driving from the airport (28.3 kms), railway station (7.3 kms) and Udaipole bus stand (7.3 kms) you can ask the driver to take Jal Burj road via Doodh Talai / Rampura Chauraha. As the slope gets a bit steep, the adventurous lot will love the challenge of the climb, but for the faint-hearted , the owners are more than happy to give a helping hand. There is ample parking space available to the guests. The nearby attractions for guests are City Palace Museum, Crystal Gallery, Old City of Udaipur, Sajjangarh biological Park and Fateh Sagar Lake. The hosts can provide assistance regarding the itinerary, commute and a guide if needed. You can hire your preferred mode of transport for the duration of stay. Once you reach the old city, one can walk around/ hire an auto or taxi. Rental cabs are available to Burj Baneria from the airport, railway station and the bus stand.
